Inspired by Life

Studio Ditte: three Dutch artists who base their design concepts on familiar but significant every-day objects , providing a fresh view and room for stories and dreams. Marieke Dirks, Natasja Heesbeen and Endry van Zwam designer wall décor is bursting with imagination and a generous pinch of nostalgia. Well-loved toy cars are neatly parked alongside each other on the wall, and every-day items like spoons or plates, antique curios and hidden treasures are elevated to art installations which invoke emotions and offer a new perspective of life. Immerse yourself in the colourful joie de vivre of Studio Ditte wallpapers.

Puzzle Games

Having graduated from the Royal Academy of the Arts, The Hague, the three designers founded Studio Ditte in The Hague in 2005. The trio had forged a close friendship during their time at the academy, based on mutual interests and passions. Similar to a puzzle, their work utilises their own photographs of their day-to-day surroundings, combined with elements of the past, the environment or nature. The resulting designs speak to the beholder; they reflect emotions and inspire the imagination of young and old alike. Studio Ditte Wallpapers occupy the senses, yet leave ample room for interpretation.

Emotional Attachment

The talented ladies at Studio Ditte have a knack for looking at the things that surround us with fresh eyes, attaching values and emotions to them. Many of their designs invoke a feeling of familiarity, intimacy, and good old-fashioned well-being, for instance their wood-print range which was created by the trio for the exhibition “Copy Paste History”. Aged wood tells a story; its structure has its own narrative, resulting in a comfortable ambience. Studio Ditte Designer wall treatments always offer a new view of familiar objects and invite the beholder to view his or her environment in a more intense fashion.
