What do you need?

  • Pencil
  • Pair of scissors
  • Needle and thread
  • A nice textile bag
  • And of course a piece of your fav wallpaper!

What you need to do

Put the piece of wallpaper on the table, with the back facing you. Now draw a few flowers of various sizes onto the wallpaper.

12
13

If you don't feel comfortable drawing your own patterns, simply find a template on the internet. You don't have to choose flowers, of course. Just use whatever shapes and patterns you prefer. Now cut along the lines.

14

Set the textile bag in front of you on the table.

15

Using needle and thread, attach the flowers to the bag.

16

It's up to you whether you want to sew all around the edges or just fix the flowers to the bag at specific points. Warning: Make sure you don't inadvertently attach the back of the bag to the front.

18

As for arranging the flowers: there are no limits to your design options! For instance, you could cut out very small flowers and decorate the strap of your bag with them. Or you might want to use feathers. Let your imagination run wild!

Voilà: your very own wallpaper bag!

During the summer, your sunglasses are probably the most important accessory. But you obviously can't keep them on whilst swimming. How about adding a wallpaper sunglasses case to your lovely bag? A stylish yet practical container for your sunglasses!

21

What do you need?

  • Pair of scissors
  • Ruler
  • Needle and thread
  • A few paper-clips
  • Your sunglasses
  • And of course a piece of your fav wallpaper!

What you need to do

Put the piece of your favourite wallpaper on the table, with the back facing you. Now take your sunglasses and measure their length and width.

22

This way, you can make a bespoke case that fits your sunglasses exactly. Rough measurements would be 15 cm length x 10 cm width. Now double the width measurement and add 2 cm for the fold. Add 5 cm to the length. This will result in measurements of roughly 20 cm x 22 cm. Draw a rectangle of this size onto your wallpaper and cut it out.

23

24

Put the rectangle on the table, narrow side to you. Now fold a thin strip (about 0.5 cm) at the lower edge, then proceed to do the same on the left and right.

25

26

Put them on top of each other, but be careful not to bend the fold.

27

You can use paper-clips to temporarily hold the edges in place.

28

Now use needle and thread to sew the open edges of the narrow side together.

29

It's up to you whether you choose a special stitch or simply attach the edges to each other. Secure the end with a good knot to make your case more robust. Once you have finished sewing the narrow side, proceed to do the same for the other open side. Once again, make sure your knot is sturdy. That's it! You've made a sunglasses case that goes perfectly with your wallpaper bag!
