How do I order?
Ordering in our Online Shop is very simple. After choosing your wallpaper(s), click on the shopping cart icon to place the item(s) there. Our wallpaper calculator can help calculating the number of rolls (or meters) needed. This calculator asks for the dimensions of your wall and calculates the exact quantity, taking into account the particular repeating pattern.

Now you can select more wallpaper or immediately place the order. When you have placed all articles in the shopping cart, click on “Checkout” and you will be guided through the rest of the ordering process.

How does the shopping cart work?
All the articles that you chose are placed in your shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, just click on the “Shopping Cart”. You’ll see all items you have selected and can make modifications or delete individual items.

How do I calculate the number of wallpaper rolls (or linear meters) required?
We recommend using our wallpaper calculator. Our calculator contains a formula that automatically takes the specific repeating pattern into consideration. That means that you won’t have to do the calculation yourself. You can find the wallpaper calculator in our Online Shop (next to each wallpaper). All you need to do is input the dimensions of your wall or of several walls of a room.

What does “repeating pattern” mean?
The repeating pattern determines the length of the wallpaper (taking into consideration where it has to be cut off to match the pattern of the wallpaper during pasting) that you have to consider while calculating the number of rolls.

How do I pay?
We offer various payment methods:

1. Payment via Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard)
2. Payment via PayPal
3. Payment in Advance by Wire Transfer

When do I have to pay?
If you chose payment via Advance Wire Transfer, your order will be posted immediately after we receive your payment. To save valuable time, you can send a copy of your bank transfer record by Email (info@tapetender70er.de) or fax (+49 36625 50729) to inform us of your payment.

Payment by credit card or by PayPal: Your order will be dealt with after we receive your payment. This usually happens within a few minutes after we receive your order and payment.

How do I know if my order has been received?
You will receive a confirmation email. Please check the Spam Folder of your email account if you haven't received our confirmation email within a few minutes after placing your order.

Is my data protected?
Your address is kept safe at all times and will only be given to a third party as part of the order process, for example for dispatching purposes. We do not keep credit card information. This information is immediately transferred to your credit card company for processing after entering it in our Online Shop.

Is my data encoded?
To offer you the best possible security, all your personal data is encoded between your browser and our server. We use the established SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol with 128 Bit encoding. You can rest assured that no one else will be able to access your data.

Note: Every time your data is encoded, a little lock appears at the bottom right of your screen.

How much is P&P?
Delivery costs depend on the weight of the package and the country of the recipient. Our Shop automatically calculates the shipping costs whilst you browse our website. Simply add your favourite wallpapers to the shopping cart to see the shipping cost in the shopping cart summary (even without registration).

When will I receive my delivery?
As a general rule, you always have a choice between standard delivery and express delivery. Both delivery times are displayed as part of the article description to the right of the wallpaper price. You will also find information regarding the current availability of the wallpaper in question here. If the wallpaper of your choice is not available at the moment, you will find out how long it will take until the rolls are ready for dispatch.

Which parcel service do you use to dispatch the goods?
We deliver to every country of the world and we always choose the most cost-effective parcel service, usually UPS or Deutsche Post (German Mail Service). Unlike wallpaper rolls, samples are always available. We dispatch wallpaper samples in a regular envelope. As with full rolls, you have the choice between standard and express delivery. In our experience, standard delivery of samples within Europe can take between 3 and 8 working days (outside of Europe up to 15 working days, depending on the country). At busy times, there may be delays. Express delivery times for samples are the same as for rolls.

What happens when I’m not home when the package arrives?
Perfect customer service is our top priority. This is why you receive a confirmation email with all the relevant information right after we’ve dispatched your parcel. You can easily track your parcel with the tracking number. Should there be problems with the delivery, we give you the telephone number of the parcel service so you can arrange for a new delivery date. However, the safest way is to give a delivery address where you can be reached during the day. If that is not possible, please leave a note for the parcel service and let them hand over your delivery to a friendly neighbour.

Can I state an alternative delivery address?
You can give an alternative delivery address in our Online Shop, i.e. an address different from your invoicing address. During the ordering process you also will be asked for the delivery address.

Can I buy the wallpapers in my country?
We are an online shop without physical branches. This means that there are no shops that offer our range in other countries. For this reason, please order your wallpapers from our Online Shop.

Do I have to pay tax on deliveries outside of the European Union?
You might have to pay import tax. Whether this is the case depends on the country to which the parcel is being sent. If in doubt, you can inquire at your customs office. In most countries, however, import of the wallpapers does not incur import tax.

What happens if my wallpaper arrives in damaged condition?
Should the parcel be damaged, please let the parcel service confirm this fact and inform us immediately. If in doubt, it’s best to refuse the delivery. Every delivery is insured against such damage. To facilitate the process, an immediate complaint with the parcel service is necessary.

In rare cases there might be misprints in the wallpaper caused during production. Please inform us by email if you notice such occurrences. We will immediately replace any damaged rolls free of charge or reimburse you. In most cases, sending a picture of the misprint will suffice. Only in exceptional circumstances will you have to return the wallpaper.

What do I do when I do not like the ordered product?
You can return the product within 30 days without stating a reason. Please note that the colours of the wallpaper on the screen can differ slightly from the actual product. This depends on the colour reproduction of different types of monitors. Please understand that we only take back undamaged rolls in their original packaging. However, if a product has been made individually to your specifications, these rights to return do not apply, unless the product is faulty. What do I have to consider before wallpapering?
The surface has be dry, smooth, clean, evenly absorptive and colour-neutral or white. All old wallpaper has to be removed. Rough surfaces, holes and unevenness should be filled and/or smoothed over with filler containing cement. A flawless result can only be achieved on a colour-neutral and smooth surface.

How do I apply the wallpaper?
Each wallpaper roll comes with instructions. There are basically two different types of wallpaper:

Paper-based Wallpaper:
Paper-based wallpaper consists out of two or more layers of (Duplex) paper. The surface might be embossed or textured or just smooth. Wallpaper paste is applied to the wallpaper and left to soak in for a short time.

Non-woven Wallpaper:
Non-woven wallpapers are tear-proof and dimension-stable. This means that they do not stretch, shrink or curl - neither when cutting nor when applying the paste. Non-woven wallpaper can be applied directly without soaking and the paste can be applied to the wallpaper or directly to the wall. The material is steam-penetrable as well as flame- and UV-resistant.

Vinyl wallpaper:
Vinyl wallpapers are covered with easy-to-clean PVC (Polyvinylchloride). They are washable and flame-resistant and as such especially suited for kitchen or bathrooms as well as public buildings and hotels. During renovation projects, the vinyl layer can be pulled off dry while the paper layer stays on the wall as a base for the new wallpaper.
